Andrew D. Kastello, M.D., FACS

Dr. Andrew D. Kastello earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland having completed a research internship at The National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, Maryland and later served as research associate at Neurogen Corporation in Branford, CT. He attended S.W. College of Naturopathic Medicine and St. George’s University School of Medicine, earning his medical degree in 2005 and completed his residency in general surgery at St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland Medical Center/ Wayne State University in Pontiac, Michigan serving as Chief Resident from 2009 to 2010. Since that time, Dr. Kastello has practiced general surgery with an emphasis on minimally invasive procedures of the gastrointestinal tract including anti-reflux procedures, colon cancer and hernia repair.
