John Keeley, M.D., FACS

Dr. John Keeley earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Valdosta State University. He went on to receive his doctorate from the Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Keeley completed a general surgery residency, surgical research fellowship, and a surgical critical care fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Keeley currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at East Tennessee State University, where he teaches students about surgical procedures pertaining to acute care, trauma, and surgical critical care.

Dr. Keeley and his wife, Neva, have seven children and enjoy the arts, music and dabbling in farming and self-sufficiency, while spending time outdoors.
